On Why Fashion is not Feminist →
What we fail to see is that we are on top of a pyramid of women, that issues global feminism must face are ugly and complicated, and that as fashionable feminists and consumers of fashion we establish demand for women to be subjugated and abused elsewhere. We conveniently forget that fashion employs thousands upon thousands of women and girls in sweatshop conditions in the developing world...

hiddenjumprope:
He was the kitty on the cover of Avenues that one time!

Adventures in Unemployment! My zine is back on... →
Unemployment is so common, but it’s often shrouded in judgment and isolation. This zine is dedicated to four things:
Critically examining common tropes about employment and unemployment.
Entertaining you.
Making you feel less alone.
Helping to give myself a voice, in a culture where unemployed people are often seen as not worth listening to.
